How to Set Up Your Wellness Booking Calendar

Let clients book themselves while you stay in control of your time

Back-and-forth texts about scheduling waste time. The booking calendar in your Brand Pack helps you show real-time availability, avoid double-bookings, and automate reminders.

This guide shows you how to:

  • Connect your calendars (Google, Outlook, etc.)
  • Set your availability
  • Create service-specific booking windows
  • Avoid overlaps with work, family, or other commitments

Connect Your Calendar

Start by linking your existing calendar (like Google or Outlook):

  • Go to Settings > My Profile
  • Scroll down to Calendar and click Add New
  • Choose your calendar provider and sign in
  • Give permission to view and add events

This allows your Brand Pack to read your schedule and block times that are already booked.

Set Up Linked and Conflict Calendars

Once connected, you'll choose:

  • Linked Calendar — where new bookings get added
  • Conflict Calendars — calendars that should be checked for availability

For example, if you use a personal calendar for family events and a work calendar for meetings, add both as conflict calendars. The system will only show time slots that are free on all selected calendars.

Perfect if you're juggling work, family, and business time.

Define Your Weekly Availability

Set your standard working hours:

  • Go to Availability Settings
  • Block out the days and times you're open for bookings
  • For example: Monday–Thursday, 9am–5pm
  • You can exclude Fridays, weekends, or set custom hours

This ensures people don’t book you during personal time or off-hours.

Customize Availability by Appointment Type

Different services might need different hours. For example:

  • Only take consultation calls on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
  • Offer sessions Monday–Thursday all day

To do this:

  • Go to Calendars
  • Select a specific calendar (like "Doula Consult")
  • Set availability just for that calendar (e.g., 12–5pm on Tue/Thu)

You can also adjust:

  • Duration (30 or 60 minutes)
  • Booking notice time (e.g., 6 hours in advance)
  • How far in advance people can book
  • Whether sessions require payment

Accept Payments for Bookings

If your service isn’t free:

  • You can require payment before confirming the appointment
  • Clients can pay $75, $150 — whatever makes sense for your business
  • This can be used per session or as part of a paid package

You’ll need to connect Stripe in the Payments setup (covered in another video).
