I spent years leading creative teams and designing online experiences. Then I served as a fractional CMO and marketing director for growing companies. Along the way, I kept running into the same pattern: good people doing meaningful work, stuck because they couldn't clearly explain what they did or why it mattered.
Great products got ignored. Nonprofits with real impact struggled to find supporters. Coaches with genuine expertise watched less-qualified competitors win clients.
It wasn't a skill problem. It was a story problem.
That's why I started Better Story Marketing. I wanted a practical way to help small businesses, coaches, and nonprofit leaders get their story right — and then put the marketing systems in place so that story actually reached the people who needed to hear it.
